Best I can manage is about 60cm [2 ft] so only about half of your monster
Also hanging over a door but luckily with a porch canopy between it and the door.

The longest of these is about 2ft. The longest one at work is over a metre now, unfortunately it's not in a good position to take a picture of

Notably that really big one in the middle is right over the glass roof of his knackered old conservatory/extension thing!
