Any written or unwritten rule regarding taking your horse to trail centres? Best way to give mine a good workout is to take him biking and have never seen any signs or had any complaints but was just wondering.

Bearing in mind my wife has two of the bloody things and I ride (horse) from time to time... I don't mind seeing them at trail centres, but I wouldn't be happy seeing them on bike specific trails.
Horses are fight or flight animals, very stupid, and easily startled and I know only too well that you really need to give horse (and rider) ample vocal warning that you are approaching from behind; else they could easily freak out putting horse, rider and you at risk from it's several hundred kilos of all brawn and no brain...

I'd have thought it'd be alright if you keep it on a lead

Some plonker took one down the Boulder Trail at Stainburn. Got as far as the Slab. Not sure how they managed to turn it round but I've not seen another one in a long, long time.
Taking one down the DL at Stainburn is probably possible. Daft. But possible.
