Just converting my rear hope Pro2 to 10mm with a kit i bought on ebay, however, the central axle that you fit in the hub looks like 12mm diameter, so the 10mm axle is loose/floats in the hub axle, supported only by the 10mm end-caps (in which the 10mm axle is a snug fit).

Is this normal? should the central hub axle be 10mm internal diameter or is it normal for this kit to only support on the end-caps. This sound a bit rubbish since Pro2 are known to have issues with being unsupported (maxle lite!)

Help please, think ive been sold a lemon.

If it’s Pro 2 (not evo) then yep, axle should be 10mm all the way through.

It’s possible I have a 10mm axle with 12mm end caps in the garage, for some mysterious reason, want me to have a look?

No worries, I’ll check it out. Drop me an email on andrew@blackjack.f9.co.uk if you don’t hear from me though, I might forget.
