Exact same issue as the OP 2 or 3 weeks ago. I had snagged my cable quite hard and it obviously hurt the connector. I was glad enough knowing there is somewhere to send them back to pay to get fixed, however, 2 days later and back with new lead and no charge.
I have two Hope lights and will buy more when / if they ever die. I also have a set of Hoops and a set of brakes.
Other experiences in the bike sector: –
Trek – cracked Liquid frame, replaced without argument
Hayes – Part for the bleed kit sent from the US foc, their UK distributor wasn’t interested!!
There seems to me to be a disproportionately high level of customer service in the bike market or perhaps I just read the horror stories and avoid those companies…
