Alright mate, I just surveyed a bunch for contents through gocompare and there were some v good rates. One company was badged for old folk, forget the name, was like £170 a year with contents away from home (don’t need to be a codger to take it up). Thing is, it all comes down to that phrase ‘will payout’.
I’m with M&S, and I would really like to tell them to get tae fk (for other reasons), but at the end of the day they have a reasonable premium and they’re proven to pay out for bike theft. I pay £17 a month atm for contents.
It should, in theory, just be down to who is underwriting the policy I guess.
