Just about to hit the buy button, but have stopped due to my short stem of 50mm, will it fit? Or will I have to attach it onto the handlebars, and is this still secure for off-road use?

    Thanks,
    Simon

I’ve had mine on a 50mm Thomson fine, just has to sit a bit over the front of the stem and hence over the bars a bit

Must depend on the stem… mine doesn’t fit on my 60mm stem… it’s been fine on the bars tho (on and off road)….

I’ve got a 500 going on eBay at the moment. Have a search, you might bag a bargain.

Still secure on handlebars if necessary – mine came with different sizes of O-ring to accommodate that kind of thing

will fit without stackers above the stem

or sit it on your top tube depending on the bike…

with a bit of playing with the bands you can even get it to direct ontop of the stem directly above the headtube / headset
