free MP4 editing software, what's good?

and what do you use?,just want to add titles, transitions and cut an paste and add music, fed up of converting to AVI for windows movie maker

I take MP4 files from a GoPro and just add those into Windows Live Movie Maker on Windows7 - no conversion required and all free so far. I have Adobe Premier too but not had a play with that after getting all you require (above) from Windows Live Movie Maker.HTH
