Just throwing this out there to see what you all think…

Contemplating going from the 140mm 32’s I’ve currently got on my Foxy to some bigger and stronger 36s’…

I’m 90kg and just feel like a need a little more oomph up front, however, I don’t want to ruin the bikes amazing climbing capability.

So, am I barking up the wrong tree with this idea, or is it feasible?

    Cheers

Have a look at the reports of the Transprovance last year.
Fabien Barel rode a Foxy R with 160 36’s on so it must work pretty well.
Its got to effect the climbing though. Ive got a foxy R and i reckon it climbs too well to justify messing with longer forks for the riding i do
Although i have been thinking about having a pair as back up for bigger mountain riding 😉

If you are worried about the climbing ability just space them down to 140. I am slightly lighter than you but I noticed a big difference going from 32 QR15s to 36 Floats (at 150mm).
