Riding Enduro6 solo and was wondering if anybody out there knows if there is a correct amount to drink per hour while racing?

Yeah, I've always thought about 1 litre per hour, but OK to be less if it's cold but more if hot. Need to take into account electrolytes over a long time period though.

Was going to use electrolytes and was thinking of riding without camelbak. But might need to change alot of water bottles over 6 hours at that rate of intake, only one bottle cage holder on frame. Cheers for the info.

HONC last weekend, 5h30 and used 4 litres, but it wasn't that hot. I used High5 Energy Source 4:1 for the first time (rather than plain electrolyte) at an event and I felt much better in the last hour than normal.
