Maybe it's just my FaceBook 'friends', but they all seem to be putting hash-tags at the end of their FaceBook status updates.
What the flip is that all about???!*
Anybody else doing/seen this weird behaviour?
(*I understand their purpose on Twitter)

they'll be posting the same updates simultaniously (sp?) on fb and twitter, using something like hootsuite or tweetdeck
that'd be my guess.

Yes, some of my friends are trending on the old facebook. The ones who have facebook/twitter is fine but it's those who only have facebook that I find quite funny

Yep, one of my mates does this. His updates usually say "via Twitter" on them (in light grey print below update on the FB site)

I think hashtags have become a bit of a meme in themselves too. It'll pass.
