just slightly underexposed to counteract digital tendency to lose sky colour - that's how it looked

With shots like that you should start selling some as canvas prints. Elterwater is a beautiful corner of lakeland

Completley Agree, tis a shame the Maple Tree Corner shop has closed down..

A few miles from the lakes but my fave.

obviously my thing about level horizons is unusual ...

Might have had a few beers when I took it and I have a lazy eye!

most of my pics come out like that due to astigmatism so I routinely level them before posting. Of course some people call that "Photoshopping" as if it were some crime against Art...

Nice pics....
Postierich, it's a shame someone parked an old van right in your view.....

Some absolutely magical images there! And there is nowt wrong with a bit of PS to create something special...

...these are all done with a standard Canon 40D, 200mm lens and a bit of digital wizardry.

Ta for that!
I still cant post pics after all these years. that mist was coming up from the loch after the heavy rain yesterday.on the way back from whitebridge i had to drive so slow because the visibility was so poor.all cleared up later on though and today is another scorcher! oh, why is it that when i view the full on quality of that pic it comes out so sharp on my screen but once its on fotopic it doesnt seem anywhere near as crisp as the likes of postierich`s pic above?
