    Does anyone know if I can run Formula Oro K18 calipers with Shimano XT rotors?

    No reason why not if the rotors are the correct size

    Make sure the braking surface is the correct depth – not "wide" enough and the pads will be grabbing the rotor arms as well.

    yes depends on rotor size & thinkness. I just bought 2 brand new Hope floating rotors for my Magura Marta calippers and when I put them on they were slightly to wide, probably only a mm or so but kept rubbing when spinning the wheels. Ended up selling them on here and just orderd the original Magura floating rotors.
    Dont get me wrong some calipers and rotors are interchangeable.
