I was going to buy the new XT 28t/40t cranks for racing on next year and converting my Anthem to a 2x10 rather than the tired 3x9 I have on it now.
But I was wondering is there anything to stop me sticking a 28t granny on my SLX and a 40t middle ring?
Currently I have a 26t and 36t and haven't noticed either being tight on chainstay clearances or anything so I assume there is no big deal about making the change?
Who sells nice big chainrings then???
