Just got a carbon rigid fork with disc mounts.
Manufacturer say max 160mm or may void warranty.
As i allready got spare 185 and 200mm rotors lying around i dont realy want to go out and pay for new rotors and adapters if i can avoid it.

The bigger rotors will ofcourse put a bit more force onto the fork when braking, but do anyone think there would be any real problems using either of the bigger size rotors?

It will not be used for anything which involved lots of rocks or drops, just smooth surfaced trails and road.

it does stress the fork more. My RC31’s I believe have max rotor size of 180mm, although I swapped a 180mm rotor for a 160mm just for the safe side.

On-One carbon forks have no max rotor size – they are very strong.

(use classifieds section to swap rotors if you want)

I can always steal a 160mm of the girlfriends stump jumper and put a bigger one on there.
Its just the MAY void warranty, wich made me wonder how big a difference it will make.
