  • Can spammers read my email?

The amount of junk mail I have been receiving lately has dramatically increased. The more worrying trend is that the spammers seem to be using words in the email subject line that I have recently sent in emails, for example I used the names “Bradley” and “Humphries” in a mail earlier today only to receive two separate emails using these names. Too much of a coincidence surely?
There is only so much viagra and hooky watches a man can use after all!
What can I do to save me from the spammers and their apparent key-logging?
I am running a mac OS X and Entourage as my email software.

Or, just embrace the philosophy of “Say Yes To Everything”. Someone offers you viagra, buy viagra. Someone wants to show you two dirty teens and an orangutan, look at two dirty teens and an orangutan. A lady from Russia wants to be your friend, be her friend.

How bad could it possibly be?

    🙂

Probably just spyware/malware on your computer. Get some proper antivirus and/or anti-spyware software.
