There is some snow left otherwise very wet and muddy. Was a slogfest and the icing on the cake was when I came to wash bike, hose nozzle had split which resulted in a soaking for me. 
It took me ages to clean the bike, rear mech was full of grass that didn't want to budge. Should really have degreased chain. Shoes, clothing and backpack all coated in mud too.
Just not sure whether I can be bothered with a repeat performance tomorrow.
How is everyone else coping?

You've not got a road bike have you? It might just be me, but even a meander through the lanes this time of year can be quite nice. Add the dreaded guards and you'll stay clean as well.
Picked up quite a lot of mud on the bike today.. have put it away and will deal with it when it dries..
I've encountered many new types of mud today.. I have a sneaking suspicion that it's gonna set like concrete..

Was out today for the first time in a few weeks. Some residual snow and not too muddy at all really. Did 25 miles and had a hoot and that's not a million miles away from you CG!
Just steer clear of Swinley and you'll be fine.

ton - I know you're unable to ride just now, are you waiting on test results? Surely you will be able to ride at some point? Stay positive.
I do sympathise, have been struggling all year and eventually diagnosed with thyroid problem. It's bloomin' hard to get out the door when you know that you can only ride a few miles then stop for heart rate to lower, stop at the top of every hill and gasp. Sometimes I feel it would be easier if I just stopped.

crappy sore throat and snotty nose (but only one nostril)means I will be mainly having a big sunday lunch and a few beers!

I like snowboarding if it's really muddy.
Never miss a weekend, snow, ice, whatever...they do say variety is the spice of life and that must include the ride conditions. Woburn was great last week with some snow and firm mud. Tommorrow bring on the slurry mud and cold - JFDI moment. Go for it 'Cin'
can you go in and do my boring job and I'll ride your bike. I'll even pay you time and a half!
You always feel better for it no matter how rubbish the conditions are. What are the other options???

Did 50 miler on the road today - mudguards meant I returned bone dry despite all the slush and snow melt. Quick wash down with a watering can, bit of lube on the chain and the bike is ready for the same again tomorrow.
i'd rather go out and get wet-n-muddy, did yesterday and will tomorrow.
I go out in any conditions because it's always a laugh. The day I don't have fun on a ride for whatever reason is the day the bike collection gets sold and I become a responsible adult. 
Second ride out after recovering from broken collarbone, so yes definitely going on my bike in the morning 
not sure why i posted that earlier.It's true to a degree although i Love riding in all conditions.If I had to foresake a ride for another activity then snowboarding when it's really muddy on trails is the best option ( Just come back from a ride so stoked and logic mode turned off - well almost - and yes I do get 'Stoked' )
I've never been out and regretted it...even if I hate parts of the ride I love other bits so it's all gooooooood

Simple don't do things you don't enjoy.
Ergo, don't clean the bike
It'll just get dirty again.
