Looking for a campsite in N Yorks to do "not much". Just chill with some friends coming in up from the deep Sarf (and possibly take a bike or two but don't let her know that) reasonably cheap and simple (not dissimilar to myself then).

    Any recommendations?

The campsite at Rosedale Abbey is nice, good facilities, a nice pub over the road and theres some superb riding straight out of the village.

Ps Want to by a tent?

Turn right on the way to Rosedale and stay at Spiers house campsite on the edge of Cropton forest, easy access to miles of walks and rides, real nice.

N Yorks is the largest county in England; care to narrow it down a little?

JD that's all i've got approx half way between Edinburgh and London is N Yorks. So somewhere in N Yorks is the destination. Just think of it as a "Where in Scotland" question but narrowed down a bit.

Thanks for the replies so far.
