    I’ve had my baked beans in the microwave oven for 4 minutes and they haven’t even heated up a little bit. What could be the cause of this phenomenon (other than the microwave oven is ballsed)?

    Your magnetron is probably dead. Like most modern white goods, cheaper to replace than repair…

    Bowl not hot, cup of water didn’t heat up. I suspect it’s molgrips’ option 2.

    What microwave thread? Surely it’s allowed if we can have what coffee machine threads…

    Just have then cold.
    Cold baked beans in the summer are great.
