I’m looking at buying a half decent torch (not for biking as i have my Ayups) and there is so much choice i’m getting confuzzled.

Don’t want a cheapy cheap Ebay one from Hong Kong and don’t want a massively expensive one.

What i want is a 500-1000 lumen rechargeable hand held LED torch in the £40ish price bracket. I see deal extreme have lots but i can’t decide what’s good and what’s not. Burn time not a huge issue, as long as it gives at least an hour it should be fine, also not too bothered about loads of modes as it’d be on high most of the time. A more powerful version of the Tesco Torch would be ideal. So what’s the best bang for my buck please? No huge rush so don’t mind waiting if it has to come from abroad (just not Hong Kong tat).
