I need to maintain my ‘bike to work but look like a normal person’ aesthetic, but my 8 year old Specialized Sonomas are giving the game away a bit. I love the style, but they are so battered they need replacement.

Any smart/cas suggestions that look less like trainers?

I wear plain black 661 Filters.

Have to make sure trousers are long enough to cover the lace-strap

There was a company called Quoc Pham at the Cycleshow that was exhibiting lots of cycling shoes designed to look like casual shoes.

I got these when my sonomas died (3 years of use)

cheaper than sonoma, but less bike looking, though laces can be a pain sometimes – wearing well so far after two years of use.

but perhaps still to trainer looking..
