What's the smalletst 2 seater panel van that you can buy which a couple of full sized bikes can fit into but without taking off the bike wheels?

escort /astra is too short in height to get full built bikes in ….even on the side the handlebars make it a royal pain to get them in without damageing the bikes. its really a front wheel off job in an escort – once the wheels off though its an easy fit for about 4 bikes !

Thats my large 29er and the missus medium 26er in there fully built – the 29er takes up alot of room , could get 3 26 inch wheeled bikes in there – ive also noted that if your careful about placement you can get three large bikes in – my cross bike , my road bike and my 29er fit in fully built – all large . by slotting the wheels down the sides of the front seats and having the other coming through between the seats and thus leaving alot of room between the bikes for kit

in there i have my merida with front wheel out and my time trial bike with the front wheel out …..i slept on the boards – front seat is right forward and the boards are atop my tool box and that plastic kit box. comfortable for a week.

they are indeed ….its slow – it will hold at 70 likes to cruise at 62/3 – do 90 if i really want it to. Its cheap to service – 280 for cambelt , brake pads and disks all round fluids and filters. and reasonable on the fuel for the convienance it brings …. about to move house with it – seems like a daunting task but my flats not much bigger than the van so other than 10 bikes there isnt alot to move

itll be the car version he has … share the same chassis – mines still got the rear foot wells under the cargo floor …. great place to store my stock pile of tesco value water

Landy 90? More fun than a Partner/Berlingo.
My personal preferance would be VW Caddy.

Vauxhall combo? Mates got one that'll take 2 fully built dh bikes without any problems. Second hand ones can be had very cheap especially if you get ex post office ones (3 years old 50kish miles £2.5k).

ive a seat inca/caddy and its perfect if you dont want to sleep in it!

Caddy/Inca with two bikes, also has bed, cooker, sink etc.

Need to remove the mesh bulkhead to get 'em straight in though. Also helps if you're short and don't need to run the seats right back.

Spent a fair while looking at this before buying my Combo…. they are a few inches longer in the back than partners and berlingos, which also opens up the option of piling 6 bikes in the back and then the people in a car.

Also means that it's long enough for me to sleep in next to the bike (I'm 6'2") if the bulkhead's out.

3.5 inches longer the combo – i wanted a combo was ready to sign on the line for one till i was advised against buying a new one as they have ecu issues – was better for me to buy a new one as i wanted 1.7cdti which hold value like hell or have silly milage

got a transit connect 220 which i've fitted 4 bikes in ok with wheels on (including a XXL 5Spot). can fit 2 bikes on each side and more kit up the middle even with the bulkhead. its also quite comfy to drive if your tall as you sit up a bit more than in a car, i'm 6 foot 4 and theres still a fair bit of head space!

New shape caddy here, bit longer than the older ones, two full sized bikes in no probs (on the angle, rear wheels in first, front wheels together at the back, if that makes sense 😀 ) I could probably sleep in it fine, but I'm only 5'4'!

Smallest schmallest, buy a hightop lwb sprinter and be done with it!
