Road bikes, a Cannondale Synapse 105 and a Sabbath Silk Road.
Silk Road is still being built.
Longest I've ridden on the Cannondale is 120 miles, in one sitting.
Gaint SCR3 but now superceeded by newer hydroformed frame model.
(Must admit that I had to upgrade the wheels to Mavic Kysirium's though as spokes didnt stand up to distance riding)

Mine
Road not touring but Planet X Sportive comfy on long days.
I really want one of these - partly because they do up to a 66cm frame. Seems that would fit your bill and you'd not even need the biggest size.
Giant SCR2, love it
I'm not all that big (6'2", 14 1/2 st), but have a Giant SCR2 (Size L) and an ancient Dawes Super Galaxy (23 1/2").

The Giant is fine for light carrying and pretty comfy for longer rides, but nowhere close to the comfort of the Dawes (now slightly updated with RSX STIs and decent comfy bar tape). I can't say how much the increased comfort is down to geometry, steel or wider tyres, but it's there. Giant is way quicker for covering miles though.
A huge 26 inch framed Marcian tourer, originally it had 27 inch wheels, so its not that new
sadly its a bit short int the top tube
From what I've seen of your spending habbits on this forum I think it would be rude for you not to let some one like Mercian build you just what you want...
ZX10
Well sort of got off road on this. It's a 62cm frame (the ugly Seven not the Spesh)
double post - edit
I am a big guy, got myself a cervelo r3, very comfortable, done numerous centuries, longest ride 155 miles in one sitting.
The bike has won the paris roubaix twice, and was the lightest bike ridden by the heaviest rider. It was on this basis that i chose it.
Surly long haul trucker for most stuff, dead tough bike that can handle anything. And a surly big dummy if I want to take a tipi.
Both are demo bikes in the shop. And both are in big bloke sizes if you wanna try them out.
YG - that looks like the Dragon to me, did you ride it last year?
A beautiful custom built Mercian.
Did a few 150miles in a day on it.
Now in a skip
charlie the bikemonger
just been on your site mate.
that looks like a good option or the crosscheck
Madone 6.5 for most stuff, Surosa Audax for touring.

Rigid On One Inbred with 700 touring rims full mudguards and panniers. Did 120+ without complaint miles on it the first day of my Le Mans trip.
Not sure what you mean by big - I'm 15-stone and 5'8".

I've got one of these:

and one of these
the surly but in monster mode
big and very capable bike... cross, tour, road, and it even goes to the cake shop.
Love the monster cross check above.
Charlie, it's bothering me. Is that dog real or is it painted onto the shed wall?
Lovely bike BTW.
Its either a real dog, or the artists of Swanage are very capable.
Are these real rats with my other big road bike do it all???
Aaaaarrrrggggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! I'm no longer sure the bike isn't painted on the wall.
Tootall, is Soma still on the go?
