Hi all, up for the week from portsmouth and have a few hours spare for a quicky.
Just wondered where the best local spots are?
I only have an afternoon at best so nothing epic.

If its just a few hours I would go for a spin at pitfichie, do a searh on the forestry commission for maps, otherwise there is kirkhill forest but it takes some exploring to find the best bits and it will probably be pretty wet…

hopefully some others will be along soon with more ideas.

Sounds good, I had already marked pitfichie up on memory map because they have a few waymarked trails there.
Shame that I cant get out and do some “real” tracks but time wont allow it.

Yep, Pitfichie for me too !
Great trails, and mostly good in the wet too !
GO for the Red trail for fun, make sure and take the left off the Fire Road at the bend so you get some natural stuff in as well.
The Berm on the lower part of the red descent which spits you back up the hillside is a joy to behold. The more you keep off the brakes, the nicer it feels !!
