Hi guys, I got myself a BB30 crank for my Rize, LBS are happy to push out the reducer that is currently in there, but I have no idea what else I need in terms of bearings? Our favourite auction site has some FSA bearings for 12 notes, but I don’t know if that is enough? Do I need more gubbins?

Are there no bearings with the crank?

If not, you’ll need the bearings & 2 c-clips (see the Park Tool page).

Apparently Cannondale put Loctite 641 on the bearing races before pressing them home to prevent creaking.

Thanks Andy, could not find that in an FSA kit, but I got a SRAM fixing kit, hopefully that will work.
