I stayed there once and it was great for being in the centre of the ‘old Town’

the rivoli ramblas on the ramblas main street is pretty good, the breakfast buffet is extensive ie fruit, meats, eggs, cereals, yogurts, pastries juices ,tea and coffee. Rooms are comfortable decent showers.Location is ideal for the ramblas and ramblas del mar. Gothic quater, port olympic not far on metro from gaudi sights or even easy enough on foot. Lots to see and do and wonderful food and wine. Try the cable car from the park to the port!

Hotel Principal.. nice hotel just of the ramblas near the hospital.

My favourite is Hotel Jardi, on the placa del Pi… basic hotel buts its location is brilliant.
