Hello. My wife is potentially looking at a new job in this area. Can any one tell me about riding and maybe a general view of the local area?

I lived near there for a few months and rode a spot called chute woods just outside Axminster. It was okay but the local riding is generally poor. Woodbury and the Quantocks aren't too far away.

What he said above, it's a bit crap on the doorstep, need to drive to the Qs/Exeter/Purbeck for a day's decent riding.
There's a couple of hours or so cheeky fun around coastal paths, some woods n' stuff West of Bridport but not much else killer rides…
