Had a tumble last friday and ripped the shoulder of my good Gore jacket. Looks like three layers of fabric so not sure if they are repairable. Anyone successfully had items repaired either direct to mfr or through a retailer? I'll google it but the hive mind is usually faster 
Yes, years ago I had my Paclite jacket repaired. Wasn't cheap but neither was the jacket. Now only wear Goretex if it's raining heavily, preferring Windstopper for dry/showery conditions.

Plastic popper on the back of my drop tail jacket broke.
Went back to the factory as it was the last one in the country in that colour and size (Alp II Jacket, didn't fancy the new one with the hood).
Plastic poppers replaced with metal ones, returned in about 3 weeks.
Done via excellent lbs, where I bought the jacket.
No charge.

The repair was perfect, I'd holed an elbow on a two ride old windproff jacket so they did a matching panel on both arms & I have to say the jacket looked better after the repair than it did before.

Yes - I've had 2 items repaired; one rip on the back of a jacket, and one pocket chewed by a puppy who wanted the gravy bone inside! They were done by a company up here in Scotland, and both came back with the work done to a very high standard. I have the details at home if you need them.
Google tundra outdoors. Excellent work. Approved repairer for Mountain equipment, berghaus. I had some ski trousers taken in last year and I had to look closely to see whether they'd actually done anything, it was that neat a job. Very impressed.
I repaired a tear in my wife's jacket a couple of years ago with a sticky Gore Tex patch and it's been fine. Hers was only a single layer though.
I ripped my goretex coat in a crash a few years ago and mended it with some tent repair tape, thinking it would do for a bit until I sorted it out properly. It's still holding up now - four years I think, and I wear it most days on my commute in the winter. Still utterly waterproof (I've even washed it a couple of times since I taped it). It's certainly not an invisible repair by any means, but was easy and cheap.
The stuff I used was called "tenacious tape" I think.

Exactly the same happened to me, big (8-10 inch) tear in shoulder, plus a couple of small tears in elbow of my Gore Alp X jacket.

My MIL repaired my Phantom after a multiple role/tumble - no probs since
I bought some goretex repair patches for a couple of small rips in my jacket - you just iron them on. Seemed to work fine.
Tundra. Maureen who owns the company used to do the in house repairs for Boghaus until they outsourced to Taiwan (or wherever). Hre prices are good and repairs ace. I had a new fully taped tent floor for £25 and it was an excelent job.

For small rips, I've used these, and they've been spot on - might not do the job for 3 layers though.

Remembered on Tuesday that the zip was knackered on a goretex jacket. I need it for a trip I'm leaving on next week.
Bagged it up, took it to work, called Tundra.
"We should be able to help. Mark it "Urgent, FAO Maureen" and send us an email as well."
Posted Tuesday afternoon, and it landed on my desk 40 hours later with a new zip, seams re-taped and looking like it's not been messed with all.
Very good workmanship, very good service.
Can't recommend them enough. 10/10.
