My Bosch Classixx half-size (or whatever the term is for smaller ones) dishwasher has a fault, and is no longer in warranty.
Basically, you switch it on and rather than setting going it makes a funny noise that sounds a bit like a motor struggling to turn or something. Sometimes it doesn't get past this stage, sometimes it does that for a while then eventually manages to slosh some water around inside but doesn't open the tablet compartment and doesn't wash things properly.
Sometimes it does the weird noise for a bit but then works fine.
There was a period where it didn't work at all - we left it for a few months while trying to get round to sorting it, tried it again and it was fine for a good few months before behaving as above.
Anyone got any ideas or do I need to call in a dishwasher engineer type person? The filter isn't clogged up or anything.
