Just treated myself to a new G12. Now I need a snug fitting quality soft case to keep it in. Any suggestions please.
I've got one of these for my G11 and it's great for the cost. Obviously not as well made as the official Canon one but it's a quarter of the price.
Assuming the body is pretty much the same size as the G10. I've been using this for 3 years in all weathers and its bombproof:

It's a dead fit, construction similar to the Oakley ballistic case, waterproof cover (not that you need it unless its really hosing down) and has a chest harness clip so ideal for mtb.
got one of these for my g12, s'okay
Case? My G9 is either slung over a shoulder or wrapped in a buff if it's going in a bag. Been fine like that for a few years now.
Another vote for the berghaus. I've used older versions for my compacts and wor lass has the one above for her G11. Its a bit tight and you tend to knock the dials as you take it out, but its a secure and versatile fit.
Cheers for the options so far 8)

Yeah, as in being able to take shots & protect both the camera and yourself whilst out on the bike...
As I said the Berghaus offering mounts on your sac chest strap and beats the hell out of faffing about taking the sac on and off every time you want to take a shot.
If I'm not on the bike I put it in my back pocket ๐
