Not bad

I think it was the term 'hard' and womens underwear he was sniggering at.
Not the fact that they are on their arse!
Posted 5 months ago # -
Yeah I reckon the 2600 staff whoose jobs are in danger will have a right laugh about that.

Not the fact that they are on their arse!
I'd have said gone tits up. Or maybe gone "bust".

Lack of support, Crazy Legs?
Posted 5 months ago # -
They'll be in even more trouble when the far racier Victoria's Secret arrives on these shores next year. That's where I buy all of my support girdles.

richie - this is STW. You know, the place where everyone is always after a bargain, where shops that charge RRP in order to maintain a living margin are "ripping off the punter", where the names of shops offering massive discounts to shift stock and fend off the creditors get passed around on a daily basis, where 13,000 banking/finance jobs are lost in a year and no one cares because "it's all the fault of those bankers".
You're working for a distributor. Have you reduced trade price and RRP on all your stuff so that the smaller shops can stay in business competing against CRC, Wiggle etc or do the big guys get the better deals? How is life on that high horse of yours?

For a lingerie store they always seemed to have far to many full length sets of pyjamas etc. (from what I could see passing by....).
Probably too niche (or not niche enough
). Be a loss to the people who work there and yet another load of empty shop fronts. But hey there's no more boom or bust so that's good.

Lack of support, Crazy Legs?
No I'm perfectly well supp... Oh the shop? Yes, if they'd had more support they probably wouldn't have thong under.
Posted 5 months ago # -
Well, I helped them as much as I could, but there's only so much a girl can do. LOL

50% off Flashy, it's hard to resist
Would that be the top 50% or the bottom 50%

Ah, he's a filthmonger, in't he.
Pretends to be a gentlemayn, but truth he's just scum amongst the worst of 'em.
Posted 5 months ago # -
S'ok Elf I'm slightly pissed and looking at the La Perla site...he's not the only one LOL
Posted 5 months ago # -
You dirty little perv, Emsz!
(Toddles off to see what the fuss is all about...)
Oh my.

Thanks for the link CFH.
They have whips!!!
and why does the Flavia Playsuit cost £245!!!!
There can only be £10 worth of material and half of that is stuck up her arse!!!!
Posted 5 months ago # -
Glad to assist.
Pricing? Well, it's all about getting the most bang for your buck, isn't it?
Emsz, La Perla? Classy stuff! I knew you were better than La Senza!
Posted 5 months ago # -
Flavia Playsuit
What d'you 'play' in that then? Scalextric?
It does not in any way look very practical that, does it?
Posted 5 months ago # -
Tell you what, that Theo Paphitis knows his onions doesn't he? bought it for a quid, sold it for 100 million 8 years later. 3 years after that its gone bust!
Posted 5 months ago # -
Thing is, La perla follows the rules of lingerie to the letter, so needs to be taken seriously, Senza is just a bit of fun.

La perla follows the rules of lingerie to the letter
There are rules? Other than "Make the wearer look more nekkid than they do when they're nekkid?"
Posted 5 months ago # -
Yeah course
1. must be stupidly expensive (otherwise all your saying is "not only do I want you to look slutty, but I think your a cheap slut")
2. Black or white, if not; nude or pastel. Never red unless asked for.there's tons of stuff about styles and shapes as well.

La Perla...£500 for a bra!
Sweet Jesus, that seemingly overpriced Finisterre jacket I've bought for my girlfriend seems like a bargain now. Would rather see her in the Mezzanotte Suspender Belt Corset though
Posted 5 months ago # -
see? LOL
Posted 5 months ago # -
If I buy it for her in green, do you think I'd get away with telling her I chose it to pay tribute to her Irish cultural heritage...and then drop in the bit about me no longer being able to afford a holiday with her at a later date?
Nah, probably not.
Posted 5 months ago # -
500 quid?? **** me, and i moaned when the mrs paid 26 quid for one!
Posted 5 months ago # -
must be stupidly expensive
Tell me about it; a few years ago I was forced to replace an item of ladies' undergarmentage what I'd (allegedly) damaged, yeah right cos it was all my fault oh of course, so off I toddle up to Rigby and Peller (Flashy knows it) with the product name an ting.
Thirty odd flipping quid.
I woon't mind, but I cooduv easily got ten pairs of pants for meself for that money. M+S too, not cheap rubbish. And what I bought; well, let's just say it woon't keep you warm in Winter.
£500 for a bra!
That's insane. World's gawn mayd.
Sweet Jesus
Of Nazareth, no less.
You could buy a bike for that. No you actually could!!!
Posted 5 months ago # -
You could buy a bike for that. No you actually could!!!
So £500 will result in a Hard Rock or a garment likely to lead to a hard err...actually, abandon response.
Posted 5 months ago # -
yeah but £500 on a bra (or whatever) for your gf, she'll, yknow, do stuff.
£500 on a bike...not the same at all
Posted 5 months ago # -
You could buy a bike for that. No you actually could!!!
Would you really want to ride a 500 quid bike?Posted 5 months ago #
