anyone recommend a Win7 compatible animnated GIF creator that's freeware and not bundled with spyware (a la Falco GIF creator, which is what i used a long time ago but is now spyware sadly)?
i have a load of jpgs taken in burst mode on a camera that i want to compress together into a GIF basically.

http://www.gimp.org would be a good start. You create lots of layers and then export as animated GIF.

oh - are the jogs named sequentially? You could use ffmpeg to create a 'movie' in animated gif format

i did wonder if i could do it in GIMP actually.
and yeah, they're sequentially named so that other option would work too.i'm not really that well up on image creation stuff you see!
