I need an 83mm bottom bracket for one of my bikes, but the choice seems a bit limited. What's the difference with a 73mm one, is it just the length of the tube between the cups?
If so does anyone know if a Race Face plastic tube bit will fit a Hope bottom bracket?

68/73mm cranks are usually interchangeable with the use of a few spacers 83 mm ones are usually seperate cranks, i assume the only difference is the plastic sleeve on the bb
