Mate of mine has a 2010 Turner 5-spot. He thinks there might be frame to frame contact as the shock bottoms out. Anyone else had this? I'm away from home right now so I can't take a look myself.

tell him to put a little more air in the shock to stop it bottoming out . but he should try letting all the air out first then he could check for any contact

That's what I was planning on doing with it at the weekend. Just wondered if there was a batch with slightly short shocks are something.

Undo one of the shock mounts and check for fouling.
Also check the shock itself doesnt hit the rocker as it moves through the stroke.
If its bottoming out hard, he may need some more hi-speed comression damping (depending on the shock)
