Crystal Ski cancels all bookings for the rest of the season

In a move that will shock precisely no one, Crystal Ski, the UK’s largest provider of winter snow holidays, today announced they are cancelling all bookings for the rest of the season. Any who took a punt on the chance of some snow time in the next few months will be offered a refund or a postponement to next year.

Their short press release follows..

Crystal Ski Holidays today announced that due to the continued impact of Covid-19 on worldwide travel and ski resorts, it won’t be operating any holidays this season.

All impacted customers will be proactively contacted to discuss a range of flexible options. These include amending their holiday to a future season with an incentive, or cancelling and receiving a refund.

The UK’s leading ski tour operator is already seeing high demand for next winter and has a wide range of ski holidays on offer from 6 December 2021 until 10 April 2022 available to book now with low deposits and some strong value deals.

Chris Logan, Managing Director at Crystal Ski Holidays, said:

We’re so disappointed not to be able to get our customers to the mountains this winter and we’d like to thank them for their continued patience, understanding and support.

We know skiers and snowboarders are desperate to get back on the snow and we’re now looking forward to making next winter one to remember.”

While his official title might be Managing Director, his actual job description is "whatever needs doing" – from wrangling finances and keeping the lights on to occasionally remembering to ride bikes for fun rather than just work. He's seen the sport evolve from rigid forks to whatever madness the industry dreams up next, and he's still not entirely sure what "gravel" is. When he's not buried in spreadsheets or chasing late invoices, he's probably thinking about his next ride.
