Niner Updates Its RLT 9 Gravel Bikes

by 2

You might recall one of the first bikes we tested at grit.cx was the Niner RLT 9, which was the mountain bike company’s first foray into the drop bar world. The RLT 9 has been successful for the company, and it released the steel version of this off-road beauty earlier this year.

Well it’s time for more updates to the RLT 9. Niner tells us that the new version of the alloy frame will feature a 142×12 rear thru axle, while both the steel and alloy bikes will see a new fork. This new carbon fiber fork is made from a new layup designed to help mute vibrations, and it will have a 15mm thru axle and mid-mount rack attachment points.

Additionally, Niner is offering new color schemes on the RLT 9. The alloy version will be available in ‘green/canary yellow’ and ‘white/grey/orange,’ while the steel frame will be decked out in either ‘satin forge grey/orange’ or ‘gloss dirty white/red.’

I’m in love with the steel RLT 9, but I dont have enough money or brownie points yet, ticks every box for me so far as can be used for so many different styles of riding
