A fine, silvery cyclocross race steed recently arrived upon the doorstep of our Belgian editorial offices. The carbon fiber Giant TCX Advanced Pro 2, decked out in Shimano 105 shifty bits, an FSA crank and TRP Spyre mechanical disc brakes, looks ready to race, out of the box.
We did a very quick, short first ride very soon after we pulled it out of the box, and we can report that the bike feels fast during acceleration, yet offers a very significant amount of comfort when plowing over Belgian cobblestones.
We’re excited to be flogging the TCX Advanced Pro 2 over the next several weeks, and we’ll report back on how it performed in our first printed issue later this summer.
