Become A Grit Correspondent

by 0

We are looking for keen contributors to help us chase up stories for our front page. If you think you can write a good story that the readers of Grit will want to read, be that a race report, trail access issue or breaking UCI news story, then you should get in touch.
As a Grit Correspondent we’ll kit you out with a welcome pack including a free subscription to the digital issues of Grit, a Grit T-shirt, a Grit bobble hat for those cold days in fields waiting for podium shots, a bunch of stickers and even a Grit cowbell.
Correspondents will have exclusive access to the behind the scenes editorial interface of the website so you can post your stories directly into the system for review and once we’ve published four of your stories we’ll send out your correspondents merchandise pack. If we like what you write and we think you are up to it then we are looking for experienced product testers to help us write reviews, but to get to that level we’ll be looking for real journalistic promise. And further down the line we are looking to fill paid contributor positions.
So if you think that you have the writing ability and the passion to become a bike journo then this is where it starts. First, email editor jeff@grit.cx and tell him in no more than 300 words why you think you’d make a great Grit Correspondent.
