After the shenanigans and technical gremlins that accompanied the launch of issue 001, we’re super excited to tell you all issue 002 of the grit.cx digital magazine is here for your delectation.
As befits a month that has seen the World Cup Cross racing come to the UK, we have 500 words from the man behind the race – Simon Burney. And fittingly, it’s then back to the homeland of ‘cross racing for a ‘my first time at a Belgian ‘cross race’ piece. The Holy Land theme continues with an interview with Tom Meeusen – a racer who’s already making a step up this year – and an insight into the Belgian Beer wraps up the pilgrimage.
We’ve got action from closer to home too, with 3 Peaks features from a rider and photographer’s perspective for two very different takes on this iconic event. The adventures continue with views and thoughts from the grey granite of the Scottish Highlands, through the terracotta rooftops of Verona, to Vermont’s verdant vistas.
As ever, we also have plenty of product tested. There are bikes from Raleigh, Felt and a bright highlight from Spot, along with a bunch of ‘cross-friendly shoes, gravel tyres from Panaracer and more!
