‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’ does not, for some reason, have a question mark. No idea why not.

You could have ‘O Brother, Where Art Thou?’, ‘What’s up Doc?’ or ‘Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?’ though.

+1 for The Hobbit and it’s spawn.   Like butter that has been spread too thinly, (and supplemented with the chutney from the black bags hanging in the park)

    No idea why not.

Because the film conclusively tells you Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Statements do not require a question mark.

That makes incomplete as phrase (or title), which is arguably worse.

    ie
‘Who Shot Liberty Valance’, or ‘Who Wasn’t There’ 🙂

Jason Statham was great in Lock Stock but my God have you seen the trailer for his next film ‘Beekeeper’? I haven’t even seen the film but just know from this that it’ll be up there as a contender.

    That accent!!??

    The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

Garbage but, like the Emperor’s New Clothes, nobody would admit as much.

I haven’t, but, just guessing here, is he a retired assassin living a quiet life in the country with his bees until he is forced into a campaign of bloody retribution by an international syndicate of honey thieves?

Tree of Life – a couple of hours I will never get back despite a cast including Brad Pitt, Sean Penn and Jessica Chastain.

Weird. This is one of my favourite films. Like most Terence Malick films you have to get past the idea of expecting some sort of storyline 🙂

No, it’s a thoughtful exposition on society, framed with reference to the love that a beekeeper must have for their charges. It’s lovingly shot in autumnal tones (repesenting the death of all of us and of society), with a score by anyone from Radiohead. Statham stands out in an elegiac role, with a  performance not seen since Depardieu in Jean de Florette. His rage at the death of the queen bee is simply worthy of Lawrence as King Lear.

Or guns  and shooting and running and crashing…

    Poetic

    Option 2?

I’m just guessing of course, for all I know, Stratham may have hidden depths that just needed the right director to bring to the surface.

Perhaps they decided against calling it “Judge Doom, Who Framed Roger Rabbit”, on account of it being a mahoosive spoiler?

Has there ever been a good film with punctuation in the title? Usually the inclusion of “ / : – “ etc is a warning of what is to follow.

    Face/Off
    Mission: Impossible

    I think you mean

    Mission: Impossible
    Mission: Impossible III
    Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol
    Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation
    Mission: Impossible – Fallout
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One

…with a deliberate omission, and I think Face/Off is dreadful but I’ll let you have it for pointing out the M:I isn’t

Of the films I’ve watched for more than 15 minutes: Starwars (no idea which one it was).

Of the films I’ve watched for more than half an hour: Out of Africa

Of the films I’ve sat all the way through: Top Gun.

Maybe it’s for the best that Jackson’s remake of Dambusters seems to have fallen by the wayside. My mate reckoned he’d have been unable to resist an hour-long sequence of the crews being trucked across Scampton to dispersals.

I pride myself on finding and watching the worst movies ever.

So I have a challenge… can you find a worse film?

The worst one so far is a rip-off of Predator, starring Kevin Sorbo (you may know him from the cheezy Hercules TV series).

Only if you confuse subjectivity with objectivity.

Prometheus has it’s issues, but ‘flesh wounds’ is objectively terrible in every conceivable metric that I can think of.

Just watched that. My charitable summary was that it must be based on a great book and they just weren’t able to retain any of the bits that explained what was going on in the film.

Bad? You haven’t seen bad. How about these two beauties?

    The Manitou

    Desperate Voyage

And bear in mind these star established actors at the top of their game (apparently).

I read the reviews of Rebel Moon, and thought “How bad can it be?” and then I watched it.

I read the reviews and decided it wasn’t worth the risk. Glad to hear I made the right choice.

Watched the new Indiana Jones film yesterday, it’s not as terrible as it was being made out to be (never saw any ‘wokeness’ that was being talked about, just bad characters and writing), but it did look really tired and trying to use the same formula as the original films, but made in a way that makes it look like the other knock off Indy Jones films. Sadly i think the last two Indy films were really not needed and just gave us a sad ending to Indy’s life.
