Had a 30+ streak reset the other day. Irritating, but not as irritating as when it wiped a 205 day run.

You will have logged in when you first started and probably never logged out. If you want to do it from a different device (for example, if you’re traveling), you’ll need to log in with the same username in order to continue your streak. If you miss a day, your streak is reset. It’s pretty easy to break a streak by accident, it’s not the NY Times messing up, it’s the user not logging in or skipping a day.
