Woe is me

Why is it that when you have day drinking planned and the judicious application of heat to meat, with friends, the wife gets ill. Now I have to either forego the planned festivities, or accommodate the three year old. The stress is real.

Fill the kid with booze and steak. You’ll soon get peace 🙂

TBH though, the wife is probably testing you!!…

I’d be abandoning the sick one and taking the 3 year old along with me…never too early to learn the joys of BBQ!

Pays to remember the following adage, particularly when you have a 3-year-old:

“If you want to have a good time, forget it.”

Well she’s already said “Daddy are you going to the pub today to drink beer? Can I come?”

So that may be an equitable solution. I’ll pass her to a mate when we return for the BBQ.
