Looking at wild camping tomorrow night somewhere in the Glenfeshie area. It looks like the rain should hold off (fingers crossed) – but given all the recent rain are we likely to find a spot in the trees that isn’t a bog? Or should we start looking for airbnbs….

    Thanks.

Err, it’s not very wet actually. Somehow the rain eventually seems to have largely missed us, despite severe flooding a few miles further north. Mrs S and I were walking near Fort William the past couple of days and had nothing more than a slight mizzle to contend with.

The floor of the glen around the bothy is pretty free draining anyway as I think there is gravel under a thin soil layer most places.

Thanks all, ended up pitching on the edge of Loch Insh on Saturday evening and it was pretty dry.
