Why no freeride type MTB games?

Stuff like Skate or SSX I mean. Why is there nothing bikey like that?

Downhill Domination from early 2000s, spent a lot of time playing that as a kid

I really didn’t like Descenders but it’s been built on since then, should probably give it another go.

Another vote for Lonely Mountains, it’s really quite chilled and fun, I have it on XBox.

I’ll give Lonely Mountains a look too, I like the stripped back sound on the vids I’ve seen of it.

Lonely Mountains is good. On Xbox Game Pass Ultimate too.

They haven’t figured out how to make a battle royale out of it.

Downhill Domination is a fantastic blast (from the past) and you unlock riders such as Missy Giove, Brian Lopes…

Think it’s from the SSX stable. The ‘amped reality’ approach with stomach-lurching jumps and drops. Lots of trick bonuses, powerups, easter eggs. Cheesy dialogue is hilarious. Combat optional 😑

Worth picking up a £20 used PS2 just for it. I did 🙂 Crying shame it was too niche to have earned successive incarnations, but the original is just great as it is
