Just back from Scotland and Speyside where many many fine malts were sampled , i have returned home and there i one i do not gert along with . Genuine 2 shot drunk and i do not like it is Hepburns choice 11 year old , un coloured . i actually like the nose , the colour and the taste its just hits a point on the front of my tongue that makes a bit zinky? What to do . it is one of less than 400 bottles and will suit a specialist more than me ? i need advice what to do ?

I would have thought if you like it and are prepared to pay the price, you buy it.

Bought without tasting -I am a Talisker Dew (sweet end of market ) drinker rather than the wilds of moorland . I bought without tasting after an afternoon of fun in distillarys and shops ? (i know ) too much excitement

I cant understand what you are on about so you are probably doing fine on the whiskey front.

Mix it with coke and stop talking like an idiot.

I don’t ‘get along’ with it. It’s a drink FFS. You drink it.

It doesn’t have a ‘nose’. You do. It has a smell.

At least you didn’t say ‘clear colourway’.

Are you having it straight or with a drop of water?

Ah, I misunderstood the initial post. Save it until Christmas and pour it over your pud.

I’m still trying to understand the OP. Did you buy a bottle of something then decide you don’t like it?
