A three seater van. Vivaro, Transit etc. No arguments over who sits up front 🙂

(just arguments over who sits in the middle)

We’re doing a fly drive to Gerona in Spain to do SSEC. We haven’t got bottomless pockets so budget isn’t massive. I thought we’d go for some sort of 7 seater and fold the seats down but one of the others reckons we’d be cheaper getting 2 small cars. So far we’ve got a 7 seater at £209 and small cars at £75 each.

Once you add in damage waivers/tolls/fuel/parking etc I bet one large vehicle will be cheaper!

    +1 for a van.

Combi vans drive like cars, good fuel economy, cheap to hire, and as said all 3 up front!

And the ease of just bunging everything in the back.

That’s what I thought. We can get a Berlingo for £80, I wonder if we could get all the shit in that?

If you can’t get it in a Berlingo it’s not fitting in a car!

Berlingo will be OK but cramped up front, a Vivaro is wider (wider seats) and a transit even wider. Some of the smaller three seater vans you are very snug shoulder to shoulder.
