My dad has asked me to sell a beautiful watch that he won in a golf competition ~20 years ago.

It has a Longines movement and the face has an Alfa Romeo badge on it.

I’ve done a bit of research and can’t find anything remotely similar.

Do you reckon this would sell best on a watch site, an alfa site or eBay (or here?!)

There are specialist watch sites, and I’m sure there must be Alfa owners fora, with sale sections like STW, it shouldn’t be difficult to find several, although you’ll almost certainly have to register, and possibly find there’s a set number of posts needed in order to qualify for being able to sell.
Somewhere like this might be a good start: http://www.watchfreeks.com

Thanks CountZero – I’ve been trawling a few Alfa sites but haven’t really found any active ones. The watch sites look good.

    Candodavid – since you asked…

The edge of the back is a bit tatty and it could do with a new strap but it’s otherwise lovely.

I’d try alfaowners website, been a member and its very active. Also, might be interested in how much you are looking for it.
