I saw some in a shop recently I am sure, but I can't find them on the net anywhere. Its some 700c full SKS type guards to fit 23-28mm tyres.

Cheers.

I'm not mega bothered about it, I just thought they'd look really good on my new bike. I don't think covering with tape would look any good (at least with my patience) and might be expensive too.
It's just infuriating that I can't remember where I saw them! I was sure they were SKS ones but there aren't any on their website.

Look a bit home made but Salmon got away with it.

Not what you're after but I made a carbon mountain bike mudguard a few years ago:

I've got some of the Berthoud ones and they are lovely. Don't look 'home made' at all IMO.

*googles Berthoud mudguards*

Yeah they look neat enough... if i had a dedicated commuter i'd consider putting mudguards on it, i just prefer no mud guards..

£185 - that's quite a lot of cash (nearly 1/4 of the bike value!)

Oh well. I think I'll just go for black. My new bike has a carbon effect thing on the forks so it would have matched perfectly..
Thanks for looking everyone!

If you could make some guards that echoed the classic SKS shape and fitment then people could use their fittings from old SKS guards to mount them.
If you could make me some I'd be chuffed to bits!! 😀
