One of my PCs runs Windows 11.

I can’t see any background app icons, you know the ones that used to be in the bottom right of the taskbar? Stuff like Google Drive, Bluetooth etc.

I’ve googled it but the instructions don’t make sense and I don’t get the options in Settings that MS suggests?

    Any suggestions?

Our version at work still has them bottom right, but they are now hidden in a ‘menu’ you activate with a little ‘up-arrow’.*

*no idea of correct terminology, I’m a user not a geek ??

Have you got the little white chevron pointing up? Click that.

There’re called system tray icons, and you can select which ones are displayed in the taskbar settings, right click on the taskbar.

Right-click on the taskbar and select Taskbar Settings and then expand the Taskbar corner overflow section to turn on / off icons that appear. Ones that are turned off appear in the overflow menu as indicated above.
