Lost a nut that holds the ladder on the kids bunk bed.

There’s a long bolt that goes through bed frame and ladder and the nut is more like a threaded tube with a hex key head, so basically the nut and bolt have flush surfaces at both ends.

Sleeve nut looked vaguely promising on Google but is there a better term?

Not sure of the name, but I know you can buy spare ‘philips head’ versions:

No I wasn’t joking about sex bolts. I was cautious the first time I googled them at work

    Sex bolt
    Inter screw
    Binding nut
    Connecting screws
    Furniture bolts
    Cabinet bolts
    Sleeve nut

These are all variations in one form or another

I was fully expecting you to be doubling down on the joke, but nope, it’s actually legit.

Look up “furniture bolts” on EBay.
    Bound to be on there.

Can’t remember what I searched for, but pretty sure I got mine from Screwfix. £2.59 for a pack of 50 or something silly…
