Shirley it would make more sense to define the opposition as being (seemingly) insurmountable or, better still, to draw attention to, and try to remove, the resistance, which is a separate discussion. Untenable – has a definition of “(esp. of a position or view) Not able to be maintained or defended against attack or objection: “this argument is clearly untenable”.” which seems to imply that the arguement is incorrect.Posted 4 years ago
